‘Vaudevillains’ is the story of Jonah and Mercy Winter, a young couple in love who have just moved into a sleepy, rural town. They 'fit in', and get on with the locals, all the while hiding the fact that they are killers who play out their twisted games on the innocent lives of the locals.
The local policeman, Bobby, discovers their secret, but rather than bringing them in, he reveals that he too is a killer, amateur by comparison, and trades his silence for training. Bobby hooks up with Mercy, who has grown tired of her husband's inability to follow her murderous designs, and agrees to help kill Jonah and 'trade up' for Bobby.

What motivated creation
​
I got back to filmmaking late, having to take a year or more out to look after my mother when she got cancer, and then getting sidetracked by life. I returned to college as a mature student to get my B.A. Hons in film making but sadly my mother passed a month before I graduated. Supportive as always, she left me enough to make this feature, and I know she would be proud of these first steps.
